Motivation Monday: Operate in your greatness👑

Motivation Mondays

Although we are grateful for the start of another week, the I-HATE-MONDAYS attitude is so tempting, especially after the beautiful weather we had. Nonetheless, here we are. Today’s motivation reminder for today & the week ahead: Operate in your greatness. Whatever this life throws at you, whatever this week has in store, always remember to function from a place that includes your best self. When we do that, we can offer better solutions to our problems, give more optimism where there may be pessimism, & Love where it seems Love is not possible (but it truly always is).

I had a reminder of this principle this recently & I’m so thankful for it. Life has challenges & it always will. The more difficult they are the more we can slip into dark places that have us thinking thoughts we wouldn’t normally think or behaving in ways we wouldn’t normally behave. As much as I know & write about Peace, there are some things that throw me off & get under my skin. It’s called being human. What I remind myself is that it’s okay to feel how I feel & to not judge myself for it. That being said, know the signs of when you are heading to the darker side & look for ways to get out of it. Listen to an inspirational song (Chronixx’s “I Can” is my anthem right now). Read a positive quote or a good book. Surround yourself with people who Love you & have your best interests at heart, because even though it can be tempting to isolate yourself during these times, being alone in those dark thoughts or spaces is not healthy. Do something, anything, that will take you to a better place & space to uplift you, putting yourself in a clearer headspace & allow you to Operate in your greatness♡ Have a great week my loves😘 Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡☆

Feel Free Friday: Enjoy the simple things…

It’s Feel Free Friday! Happy Long weekend folks!

While the weather keeps getting warmer & the 3-day weekend is here, remember that it’s the little things that mean so much. Whether you’re doing a weekend getaway or popping popcorn to binge watch your favorite shows, make it special by being ever present in that moment, paying attention to the beauty that’s right in front of you that maybe you often take for granted. Feel Free, be safe, & enjoy!

This picture below of the early sunrise was taken while I was laying in bed, eyes opening at 5:15am. It was so lovely that I had to snap it. I am thankful for the view from my home, as it provides such serenity & causes me to stop & admire the beauty that lies within nature. Specifically, I love to see the sunrises & sunsets, as the blue, pink, purple, & gold colors spread across the sky, making way for new days & calm nights. We often take sceneries like these for granted, not giving the beauty the attention it deserves, & forgetting that we can take many cues from Mother Nature on how to start up & stay energized & how to wind down & rest. This view greets me in the mornings now that the weather is warmer & it reminds me everyday that no matter how mysterious the night can seem, the Sun always rises🌞

Have a great weekend my loves😘Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡☆

Thoughtful Thursday: Ego is “Me” & Soul is “We”

Good morning & blessed risings!

A simple Thoughtful Thursday reminder to decrease the energy we give to the Ego & increase the food we need for the Soul. It does WONDERS for our Inner Peace when we live in the fullness of Life & the journeys we are on. In this, we can uplift ourselves & others Peacefully in the best ways that we can.

Have a great day & hopefully we can all enjoy this beautiful weather!🌞

Wellness Wednesday: Missing the mark….🤔

Happy Wellness Wednesday!

Missing the mark….

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend & the mommies had a lovely day with their families😍I am truly grateful for the gift of Motherhood, my daughter is such a huge motivation for me to stay on my A game & to forgive myself when I’m not. The New Moon cycle has begun. What goals are you looking forward to this month? Whatever they are, whatever your present position is on your journey is, let positive & Peace(ful) vibes lead you.

Recently, I missed my mark. I had every intention to have my homemade Brown sugar scrubs ready with new scents for Mother’s Day gifting & sales. I didn’t. Life happens & when your plate is full some things tend to slip off until you get a chance to collect them. Thankfully, yesterday was the start of the New Moon cycle & I was so happy to make use of the positive vibes & prepare my New Moon List. Early Tuesday morning I woke up & wrote out my list of goals & held a smudge & prayers later that night to ward off any negativity. The whole process reminded me that our journey towards to our goals are that: journeys! As with any adventure there will dips & turns, highs & lows. What is to be at that time will be. So sure, some of my prior goals are not met yet, but each day I make a step closer to them, & each idea I put into action, whether big or small, helps me to further accomplish my goals. That being said, I continue to meet amazing people along the way that continue to encourage me & show me support, reminding me to love myself through it all. I’ve even made new friends that have become like family along this journey, so I am truly grateful.

I hope my story can remind you to be gentle with yourself. I often remind myself of this too. When I miss a mark & feel the anxiety starting to rise up in me, I take a breath & say to myself, “No need in beating yourself up; what is for you will always be for you; there is something more that you need before you can make this next step, so just be patient.” Besides, the obstacles are really just stepping stones to your greater good😊 so keep your head up & aim for the stars!

Have a blessed Wellness Wednesday my loves! Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡☆

Feel Free Friday: Dear Mama…

It’s Friiiiiiiiday!!!

The weekend is here & Mother’s Day is around the corner! As we take a moments to honor our mothers & the mother-figures in our lives, let it be a reminder that Life is short & we need to Love & cherish the people in our lives who have always been there for us. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas!!!

I dont remember my mother. When I was 18months old she passed away. Thankfully I have my family to tell me about who she was & what she was like. The first time I met one of my uncles he froze, saying it was like looking at my mother in the flesh. As a mother now myself, when my daughter was 18 months old, I started feeling very unsure of myself as a mother. Am I doing this right? Will I be around to see my daughter grow up? I also noticed my daughter was a bit more clingy to me around the anniversary of my mom’s passing. This obviously made me more emotional. I had to remind myself that I survived many trials & tests of Life & made it to this point of motherhood. My daughter even carries my mother’s name as her middle name. Some serious positive self talk & prayer really helped me get through that time. Now, I more confident in my skills as a mother with the understanding that as with all our roles in Life, motherhood is a daily work in progress. Some days stressful, some days excellent, & some days “meh.” I have learned to embrace them all & take comfort in knowing that I am doing the best I can, learning along the way, & am blessed to be the vessel chosen to bring this wonderful Life into this world. My mini-me is truly an amazing little girl that has become my mini-bestie, a little person with huge potential for greatness! I am so grateful for her, & for my own mother, who also did her best until she was called back to the Spirit realm.

We often take our parents/guardians for granted & while the relationships with them may not always be the best, if they show us love & care for us, then let’s give them some acknowledgment for the work they put in to raise us & providing us with the necessities to live. On that note, Happy Mother’s Day Mommy❤❤❤I love you & miss you everyday, & I feel you with me always. Happy Mother’s Day to all us mamas!!! Enjoy the weekend! Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡☆

Motivation Monday: What’s your next move?

Happy Monday!

What’s your next move?🤔 Each day we open our eyes, we are given a chance to make a step in a better direction for our highest good.

This last week I’ve been reminded of this, with each day being a gentle reminder that there is a lesson being taught, that there is always something to learn. We are so quick to judge our journeys, being overly critical of the steps we’ve made or haven’t made, beating up on ourselves about past or present mistakes. I am such a sucker for this but I’m getting better at spending less time feeling bad about my shortcomings & spending more time focusing om the solutions & best next steps. I often ask myself, “So okay: what’s your next move?” I love to write lists to stay organzied & so with a more optimistic outlook, I make a list of things I need to accomplish in the short term to achieve the long term. This helps to create a even more positive outlook on the future.

So, what’s your next move? Let today be the day you tap into all your confidence to soar & help you reach your highest self. Havea great day my loves!❤

Feel Free Friday: Free-up Yourself!

Happy Feel Free Friday!

The rain is falling, the Earth is getting nourished & we have thankfully made is through to the end of another week! It’s the perfect time to Free-up Yourself 😁!What are some things you did that helped you to regain & maintain your Peace?

Thankful for the warm weather, this week, I was able to connect with Nature through exercising in the park & taking walks along the Harbourfront on my lunch breaks. It feels so good to get outside more regularly again! One of the biggest things for me that helped me maintain my Peace this week was carving out Me time & not feeling guilty about it. As a single mom, the only time I have to myself is at night. Once my little girl is cozy & off in dreamland, sometimes I listen to music & dance, I write, or organize my tasks for upcoming dates & events. I unload & take the time to sit still & just be with myself. It has become a crucial part of my wind down time & especially on a Friday night when we get to sleep in on Saturday, it is a definite plus (especially when popcorn & wine are involved😁)! My point is that the more you make yourself a priority in your daily routine, your Love for Self increases & creates more opportunities for you to share that Love & Peace with others.

While I know we may may not always have that time each night (trust me I know), I encourage you on this Feel Free Friday to make that time, even if it’s 5mins a day or one evening a week where you take a coffee break in the afternoon or a bubble bath after work. Do something to Free yourself. It works wonders for the Peace of the Soul❤

So, what are your plans this weekend? I think this rainy weather calls for a mini-at-home Spa treatment…🤔😁Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love♡☆

Wellness Wednesday: Give yourself some Love!

Happy Wellness Wednesday on this gorgeous day!

Spring has finally sprung! What better time to treat yourself to some warm weather Love! Wear some short sleeves, pull out the flats, take a walk in the park, & just have some good ol’ Me time!

Yesterday evening while my daughter played in the park, I decided to live a little more (😁) & did some Yoga in the sunshine! I have never done Yoga outdoors but after my experience I will definitely treat myself to this habit! Something about Vitamin D being good for the joints & muscles, the serenity of being one with Nature, why not get it all directly from the Source?😎 Needless to say the rest of the evening went well & both my daughter felt the Peace from just being out & about in Nature. What does your Self Love look like today?

Have a great one loves! Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡☆
