It’s Friiiiiiiiday!!!
The weekend is here & Mother’s Day is around the corner! As we take a moments to honor our mothers & the mother-figures in our lives, let it be a reminder that Life is short & we need to Love & cherish the people in our lives who have always been there for us. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas!!!
I dont remember my mother. When I was 18months old she passed away. Thankfully I have my family to tell me about who she was & what she was like. The first time I met one of my uncles he froze, saying it was like looking at my mother in the flesh. As a mother now myself, when my daughter was 18 months old, I started feeling very unsure of myself as a mother. Am I doing this right? Will I be around to see my daughter grow up? I also noticed my daughter was a bit more clingy to me around the anniversary of my mom’s passing. This obviously made me more emotional. I had to remind myself that I survived many trials & tests of Life & made it to this point of motherhood. My daughter even carries my mother’s name as her middle name. Some serious positive self talk & prayer really helped me get through that time. Now, I more confident in my skills as a mother with the understanding that as with all our roles in Life, motherhood is a daily work in progress. Some days stressful, some days excellent, & some days “meh.” I have learned to embrace them all & take comfort in knowing that I am doing the best I can, learning along the way, & am blessed to be the vessel chosen to bring this wonderful Life into this world. My mini-me is truly an amazing little girl that has become my mini-bestie, a little person with huge potential for greatness! I am so grateful for her, & for my own mother, who also did her best until she was called back to the Spirit realm.
We often take our parents/guardians for granted & while the relationships with them may not always be the best, if they show us love & care for us, then let’s give them some acknowledgment for the work they put in to raise us & providing us with the necessities to live. On that note, Happy Mother’s Day Mommy❤❤❤I love you & miss you everyday, & I feel you with me always. Happy Mother’s Day to all us mamas!!! Enjoy the weekend! Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡☆
