Wellness Wednesday: Peace Like a River😊

Good morning loves & it’s Wellness Wednesday! Peace like a river! Something that I came to remembrance recently is this: just because you have Peace that flows like a river doesn’t mean it will be smooth sailings all the time. Life doesn’t work that way so why would its components? The truth of the matter is is that what you seek is what you will be tested in. It’s important to know that growth can be uncomfortable at times but it is necessary. Visit peacefulprojectblog.com for today’s Wellness Wednesday post & inspirational quote. Peace & Love ♡☆ In order for your Peace to grow, you will be confronted with situations that test your Peace. Will it always be easy to remain calm in a frustrating situation? Nope. This is definitely something that concerns me in prayer when I ask for continued strength & Peace to handle whatever comes my way, is that whatever comes my way will be really “testy.” Like me, you will probably feel like you want to scream or shut yourself in a room away from everyone when faced with circumstances that make you feel like, “Ugh! I’m trying to be calm & this is NOT helping!” The key is learn & practice ways to shorten the amount of time you spend in the frustration, & use the methods of Peace & calm to help you manage better, to increase the time you spend being proactive & less being reactive. A deep breath, for example, works wonders to re-center yourself, or repeating a positive self-talk mantra like “It’s okay, I can do this” are great ways to ground yourself before or even after responding to a frustrating event. Whatever you do, know that you are human & there are things that will upset you. There are times when responding with a “Zen” attitude is not your first thought, & that’s okay. Just remind yourself that you are Peace & Love & it will help propel you to a positive mental & spiritual space. And of course, always rememeber to Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡☆ p.s. tonight is the 2nd Full Moon of the month, nicknamed the “Super Moon.” Enjoy the view 😊 & if you made your New Moon list, give thanks for all you have accomplished & are still working on, & burn your list to send your intentions further into the Universe!😘

“For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind.”- Ralph Waldo Emerson
