Fear not! Terrific Tuesday !

Terrific Tuesday has rolled around & Im thankful we’re here for it. I missed you all yesterday, got caught in the craziness of a Monday; alarm went off late & the work day was super hectic, but it’s a new day! 

The question for today is, when working on your goals, what do you fear? Chartering the unknown can be pretty scary, but you know what? When it comes to our growth, nothing is usually too smooth about that. Just remember that innate strength that is in all of us. Here’s a story about a man who faced his fears & made it through with Joy.

I read a story about a blind man who had a beautiful voice & had also survived the Holocaust. He made a promise to those who were with him that encouraged him that he would pursue a career in music if he survived. He did survive and became known for his voice. More importantly he became known for his Joy, as he spoke of not allowing his painful experience to keep  him in sadness but rather to lift him up into a place of Peace. Remembering the comfort that his singing brought others while in the concentration camps helped him through rough times. Did he cry? Sure! Was he afraid? You betcha! Did he give up? Not a chance!

This story brought a tear to my eye, thinking of the countless survivors in history & present day that continue to press on & strive for more  despite the things they have been through, some of whom I know personally. I encourage you, as they have encouraged me, to remember that inner strength that is innate in all of us. Make a habit to tap into it, especially when fears start to cloud your vision on your route to your dreams. They are only as limiting as you let them be, so don’t let them!

Wellness Wednesday: When life knocks you down, you can always get back up!

​Good day ♡

Back from taking some time for self healing, I am recovering from a cold & happy to be healthy.  Yes, I’m coughing & have a stuffy nose. Sure, my head feels so stuffed up that I feel like I’m flying on an airplane, but you know what? I am still here! I am healthy & because I can feel I can make it through all of this, just as I have many times before. Today’s Wellness Wednesday is to remind you that whatever the storm, whatever it That has knocked you down, you can & will recover.Every now & again  you need the down time to recoop. You will get back up.

Many times, in the midst of falling or failing, we feel there will be no way out. We may feel there is nothing more for us but to slide under the covers of grief & stay there.  Lord knows I’ve been there, & physically, these last 2days, I slid under my covers & slept. I slept away the fevers, I slept away the aches & pains, I slept away the sore throat. And when I emerged, I had a boost of energy. My mind & body felt clearer & I could organize my life again.

You may feel like you’re doing nothing by sleeping, by being alone with yourself for a time. But in these moments, a strength develops that we forgot we had & we emerg like the butterfly, new & beautiful as we always were with even more splendor. Take the time to Love yourself through the dark times & the Light will eventually become You. Stay hopeful. Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡☆

Happy Feel Free Friday! Here we are at the last day of the week until the weekend (yay)! As I write this, my eyes are heavy & my throat is scratchy….it’s that time of year again, when the sickies start going around. Ginger & garlic, honey & lime are on deck, & whatever home remedies you use, I hope you don’t have to this season. But there is one that I encourage you all to apply on a daily basis in any way that you can: Love.

When I say, “Love yourself & be yourself,” I literally means to give yourself Love in any way you feel you need it. In conversation, I was reminding a friend of this, & also reminding myself of the same thing, that we need to love ourselves, as we are, no matter what. We get caught up in “trying to get fit and lose weight,” or “making & saving more money,” or whatever it is, & while these goals are good ones to have, we put so much pressure on ourselves that we begin to beat up on ourselves if we haven’t reached the goal when we thought we would. I said my friend, “sure, I could lose 10lbs, but as I work on it, I got a love the skin I’m in in the meantime,” reminding her of the same for her own personal goals & trials in the meantime. Before you know it, your goal will appear more realistic & attainable. 

This weekend, & each day, give yourself Love. Remind yourself that you are worthy, that ypu deserve Love. Let go of guilts or shames; it’s time to be free! Love really does heal everything, the physical & the Spiritual sickies 🙂 Love yourself & be yourself.  Peace & Love ♡☆

Wellness Wednesday! Attention for change

​Good morning ♡ 

Today feels like Spring doesn’t it? I like the feeling of crisp morning air that isn’t cutting through my jacket with icicles lol. Thankfully we are here another day, another Wellness Wednesday. As we move through this week, let’s make a point to keep negative energies from snowballing into inner discord & outer rages. Anything that gives much turmoil is asking for attention to change.

For me personally, I am always trying to find ways to react differently to situations that pop up & bother me. Sometimes it’s a similar experience, & I ask, “why does this keep on happening?” Putting myself into a calm state by closing my eyes & taking a deep breath, I remember that everything that is brought to you time & time again is asking for you attention to change it for the better, to do something different with it. With that, I always find that solutions will start rushing to my mind & the annoyance begins to dissipate.

If today you find that you are feeling easily annoyed or vexed, take a deep breath before responding to the trigger. Give yourself the chance to react in a different way than you’re used to, & feel the difference it makes in your Spirit. You will feel more control over how you react as you will put yourself into proactive mode, giving yourself a chance to actually resolve what is troubling you & move forward in Peace.

Monday Motivation! 

​Good morning ♡

Welcome back to Monday! A nippy one isn’t it? Today, as we embark on the start of another week, my encouragement for you is in inspiration of last night’s Full Moon (beautiful wasn’t it?): instead of worrying about the process, give thanks for the accomplishments made along the way. The Full Moon meditation represents coming full circle/cycle & giving thanks for what took place during that cycle as a contributor to your Life process. It’s so easy to get caught up in what we may be lacking or what we are struggling with, & lose sight of what we have & accomplished. Have some gratitude with you each day & remember not to fear or doubt yourself during your process of growth. It all takes time.

With that being said, what are you grateful for today? Keep that running inventory going & refer back to it in times of doubt or annyoance. Love yourself & be yourself.  Peace & Love ♡☆

Wellness Wednesday : Surviving the Shock

Sorry for the late post; the influx on emotions had me on the toughest search for the right quote to accompany today’s words of encouragement today. I hope this finds you in well spirits. 

Needless to say, many of us aren’t feeling a sense of Peace today as Donald Trump has been named the President elect of the U.S. With the barrage of images, speeches, round-table discussions, & more, right now, emotional damage control is needed.  Todays Wellness Wednesday post is to encourage you to take some moments today & break away from the outrages & tensions. Take a short walk for some fresh air. Share a laugh with a co-worker or friend. Have a conversatiom about something uplifting. Find a way to balance out the craziness, because as with everything in life, we have to put our efforts towards what is healthy for our mind, body, & Spirits.

Motivation Monday: Stay focused!

I hope everyone had a good weekend ♡ For those of you who had some trying times (to say the least), I give thanks that you made it through for another day, & the start of another week. For today’s motivation, I encourage you to focus on what you can do & not the things in your path that may be stopping you in your tracks, making it difficult to progress. Unconsciously we end up giving our energies to the things we feel we can’t do & lose the strength to do the things we can. Stay focused & your steps towards your goals will become clearer.  Wellness Wednesday : Be the change you want to see….

​Good morning ♡ 

If you want to feel different,  you have to be what that different feeling is. In other words, you have to reflect that thing. Whatever it is that you yearn for and require in your life, whatever it is that is positive, you must show yourself that you can handle it by becoming the very thing you desire.

Yesterday evening in my readings I came across this concept that is not new to me, but was a good reminder: to receive it you must be it. If there is something you feel is lacking in your life, whether it be friendship, finance, love, Peace, etc. the best way to receive it is to embody it. Be your own best friend & show yourself you are worthy of that. Give thanks for the finances that you do have, even if it’s not much & watch as you gravitate more to you. Love yourself first, totally & unconditionally, you deserve it, & be at Peace with yourself first, inside & out, flaws & all. 

Whatever it is, show yourself that you can have what you want and need by being what you want and need. Be courageous! It may take some time to process & get used to doing but in the end it will make all the difference. Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡ ☆
