It’s Back to School!

The summer break is over & the textbooks are cracking open again. Students are ready (some reluctantly) to learn something new, make new friends & reconnect with old ones, & are excited to start fresh for another new school year.There is always something a magical about that first day back to school. It was definitely a big day for my lil one who isn’t so little anymore, entering Grade 1. Butterflies in her stomach, she said, “Mom, it’s going to be difficult.” Then I reminded her of the grade 2 & 3 homework that I’ve been giving her & how she aces it,that she’ll be just fine & that her teacher is there to help if she gets stuck on some things. She understood & soon became excited when she saw all her friends & new teacher. Short & sweet, today’s Terrific Tuesday post is to inspire you to always work towards your higher self. Learning something new & remembering past lessons are so important in your growth. Be patient & gentle with you as you move into a new Autumn year, & for the students, have a great first day!
