Take back control!

Good morning ♡

Some meditation inspiration I’d like to share with you this week is: trust the ebb & flow of Life. We often worry because we fear lack of control. It can be our own actions or the actions (or lack thereof) of someone else, but where is the Peace in that? Nowhere. All you do is worry & fret about something you can’t change. But there is one thing you have control over: how you feel, about ourselves, about the situations we are in, we can control the energues we put into each encounter we have, daily. We create our environment so why not create one of peace and joy instead of worry & fear? Your true Inner Self is that of harmony. Dischord in the things around us are eveidencr of dischord within, & when we worry & fear, it disrupts the path in which the harmnoy can flow & exist. Focus on creating a balanced& loving inner environment. It will bring us closer to tbe trueness of ourselves & increase the trust we have in the Almighty, in the trust we have in Life, knowing that we have all that we need. We just have to tap into it. Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡ ☆

Activity: Later this evening, when all the tasks for tomorrow’s prep are complete, kids are asleep (if you have any), make some time to reflect on some of your deepest fears & worries. Now, examine the way your body feels as you remember the encounter or predicament of the situation that causes you to fear & worry. Are you tense? Is your breath quick & short? Do you feel heat rising from within, blood preasur elevating? These physical reactions are a normal response to things that cause us anxiety & grief. The key is not to linger here. Take some deep breaths now and focus on the rhythm. See now how your body’s energies change to being relaxed & you either think of solutions to your issues, or you feel the anxiety float away & Inner Peace begins to grow. By doing this,you are regaining that control back over your emotions & feelings, to allow yourself to create the positive energies &surroundings that are necessary for harmony in life.  Let that Peace be the feeling you carry with you into sleep, so that when you wake, you can feel refreshed from the inside out.

Today’s Feel Free Friday moment: What’s in your rearview?

So, I know many of us get inspiration from day to day happeneings. Sometimes it can be from a grandiose experience or sometimes it’s from a small everyday activity that you never really gave much attention to. The other afternoon while driving, I was in conversation with Spirit (I tend to do this alot out loud while driving alone) & I kept hearing, “Just ask for what you need; ask and you will receive it.” In life, we come across ‘obstacles’ that seem like permanent blocks in our way. At times I feel blocked by anxiety or fear that the things I am working towards in my life may not come to fruition. In my younger years, fear would keep me from making certain moves. As I have grown, it doesn’t hinder me in that way anymore, but it may slow my process down, have me second guessing things. I kmow many of us have been there or may still be there. This was my prayer, that whatever it is that’s blocking me that it be moved so that I can see clearly in front of me. At the time, I was driving behind a big truck. As the words left my lips, the truck changed lanes and switched to driving behind me. In front of me was clear road, & in my Spirit I heard, “Sometimes what we think is so big, seemingly unlikely to be moved & put behind us, are the things we don’t ask for but Almighty can do. Don’t be afraid. Trust & you will see for yourself.” Joy & Love enveloped me from the inside out & I couldn’t stop smiling. I felt a deep sense of relief that fear or anxiety is no longer amd hinderance for me. Then I looked in the rearview &the truck looked so small even though it wasn’t that far behind. Whatever it is that you seek, you need, bring that to the Almighty, put it out into the Universe in love & positvity, & trust that what you give is what you get. You may not see the change instantly, but hold on, it will happen. It can get hard, & discouragement will try to settle in. Just keep your eyes on the road as cars do change lanes. Peace in the storm


Good morning ♡

Each morning, I take a word out of my Positive Box (or a few depending on how Spirit leads me), & keep that word close to my thoughts all day, as a way to keep me in a place of peace & positivity for the day. Today’s words were “Today will be a good day regardless of how others behave,” & “Meditation. ” Knowingly & unknowingly, we tend to allow the way others feel & interact with us determine how we feel about our situations or even ourselves. Today’s words helped bring that to my forefront to remember to live in Peace with myself regardless of others & their intentions or emotions that may not be of benefit for me. In that, Meditation is sooooo crucial for me to obtain that stillness when my waves of emotions want to stir & splash in my Spirit. Last night I worked on that stillness after studying & note making for my upcoming assignment & Workshops, feeling anxiety trying to keep me in a state of worry & fear, so Meditation was very fitting as well in this way, to remind me to remember & feel that stillness. I encourage you as well, that whatever it is that plagues you, to bring yourself to that stillness and let your inner Peace lead you. Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡ ☆

Loving You ♡♡♡♡

Good morning♡

Today’s Morning Daily is a simple one: Love yourself enough to do what is good for you. No one else but you. When you put yourself first, you’re essentially putting Almighty, putting Spirit, first in your life. Some may feel that our spiritual relationship within is not as important as the relationship we have with our loved ones or close friends, that eating right & exercise deserves more attention than prayer or meditation. The question I pose to you today is, how can any of the above flourish without a good spiritual relationship within yourself? How do you offer your best self if you haven’t given your inner essence enough fuel to run on? Feed, nourish, & develop your Spirit with Love, always, all ways. It will take time at first to find what works for you but it is worth itas tge benefits not only show up in your own life, as you have to live with you, but it spreads to those you know & don’t know, & to those you love. As I always say, Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡ ☆

Good afternoon ♡

Sorry for the late post, feeling a bit under the weather but grateful for another Monday 🙂 It has arrived & holy snow! Old Man Winter doesn’t seem to want to let go & it’s back to shovelling driveways & sprinkling salt. Please be safe today on your commutes & keep warm 🙂

Did you know that stress is one of the leading precursors to almost every health issue? Good stress is when we feel excited, in wait & anticipation of something positive. Bad stress is the kind that causes worry & anxiety. Prolonged bad stress leads to higher blood pressure ( the “silent killer”), high cholesterol levels, & a weakened immune systems, just to name a few. Some may thumb their nose at meditation practices, but stilling the mind, connecting Spiritually, & learning how to become at Peace with yourself in ALL avenues does wonders for your health. Feelong overwhelmed &over burdened? It’s okay, this is normal. When you recognize this, be gentle with yourself & do something that will help you feel calm. A better you means better surroundings, for you & thise around you. Create those positive vibrations through hihgher thoughts & Love for Self. You will be amazed at the overall healyh benefits :-). Love yourself & be yourself. Peace & Love ♡ ☆

Activity: Mondays can be the toughest day of the week. Break that cycle & make Mondays Meditation Mondays. Take just 5mins each Monday to start, to find a quiet moment, close your eyes, & breathe deeply. Thoughts will pop into your head. That is to be expected. Let them flow & move on to stillness. It may not be happen quite the way you expect the first time (sometimes even when you have been doing it for uears it may not happen right away), but be encouraged. Small steps im a good direction does wonders fir your total health. As you become more comfortable, increase the time as you build upon the practice (i.e. 1min each time) & embrace the fact that you are taking time out for You ♡

Good afternoon ♡

I like to read up on the different ways to become closer to Self, about this journey called Life. Something that I read the other day by Louise Hay from Hay House, was that the very thing we teach others is also the very thing we need to learn as well. This really stood out for me. Sometimes, the things I write about in the Morning Dailies are things I too am learning to do as well. The activities I share are ones that I do as well. The quotes are ones that isnspire me deeply which I hope do the same for you, & the poems I post are ones that I write myself. Part of learning these life lessons and staying motivated in doing so is sharing them with you all. It’s all part of the process, growing while encouraging others to grow. We are human, not perfect by any means, continuing to strive to be the best version of ourselves, whether we know it or not. There are times where I feel discouraged in continuing on with my ventures, as I too, struggle with certain things. Then I get some positive feedback about how a Morning Daily just hit the spot for someone & inspired them to keep going, or brought them or someone they shared it with out of a dark place & provided Hope. I also get feedback that the activities may be difficult to do in the sense of a person is still building to that level. Trust me, I know it can be hard. The point is to make the steps. Do what is needed in a positive way to get you there. Your feedback inspires me more than you can imagine & I am grateful to be able to share positive energues and vibes with you all.
