“I Can’t Keep Calm! It’s her birthday!”

Good morning ♡

TGIF! I hope everyone had a good week; if things were trying, look to the silver lining & keep your head up! Today’s Feel Free Friday moment goes out my lil lovebug Nia! Happy birthday to my special little girl who turns 6 today (gosh how time flies)! I am so happy to be a Mommy! As parents, our kids try our patience & make us think, “Am I crazy?”, but they are also the very beats of our hearts. Being a parent is a position in life that never fades & there is always room for growth & learning. My lil Luv-Luv is one of my biggest motivations for all that I do, & she keeps me going when times get tough. My end note of “Love yourself & be yourself, ” is from her, where each morning we recite our mantra to have fun,learn lots, be kind, & Love yourself & be yourself. And she does it! Each evening she tells me about something fun,something she learned, &at times where she has tood up for herself & walked away from persons or situations that are testing her positive Spirit. I cant speak enough on how proud I am of my lil girl when she says she’s helping her friends & younger kids in other classes how to read 🙂 & she is the student who helps the JKs when they get hurt in class or the playground (honorary nurse-in-training). She makes me proud & I let her know that. Today is also my big brother’s birthday! Yay! Happy birthday to the best big brother a girl could ask for! Through everything he has always been there & today I not only honor the bond & love we share (still calls me kiddo & I love it 🙂 )but also the bond he shares with his niece, as he predicted she would come into this world on his birthday! 🙂 So here’s to my bro & my lil girl!
