Being grateful for what you have is a good step forward into having peace in your life. It’s the constant want for more and more that makes us feel discontent with what we already have. Yes, we all need things, but what is most important? Are we atremtping to live beyind our means or are we doing the best with what we have, being wise towards furture needs and wants? Today, make a concious effort to think about the things and people in your life that you are grateful for (people, shelter, food, clothing, transportation, love, etc). Ask yourself where would you be if it weren’t for…..and then give thanks. This practice can really help you see past what you don’t have and embrace what you do have.
